An action plan has been formulated to crack down on foreign nationals who do not return after coming to India in the name of travel and education in coming days 52 different government agencies have been directed to disband such people.
In a three-day meeting of state police chiefs across the country in the capital Delhi, based on extensive discussions, it was decided to arrest people who stay in India for longer than the prescribed time and send them back to their country. According to sources, it was suggested to give a different identification number to foreigners coming to India.
This was suggested while coming to India while taking mobile connection, housing or travel package.
It was also recommended that action be taken against managers who do not provide information about foreign nationals staying in hotels or studying in colleges or coming for treatment in hospitals.
